Modalis MR 16000 one-phase AC voltage stabilizer is part of the Modalis product range of Standard stabilizers. This is a new model with fully electronic switching that uses thyristor power switches.  

Modalis MR 16000 voltage stabilizer is manufactured using the Double Coil technology where the same transformer coil works both to increase and decrease the voltage.

The new Modalis MR 16000 model with electronic switching has a number of significant advantages compared with the old models that use relay switches. The electronic switches are absolutely noiseless, and unlike the relays have a much greater service life period. We now take orders for manufacturing of this voltage stabilizer with the shifted (either up or down) adjustment range, which the old model lacked. The use of the Double Coil technology allowed us to reduce the stabilizer's weight in half while simultaneously improving a number of stabilization parameters and bringing down the price of the unit. The size of the voltage stabilizer has also been reduced significantly. The use of new design helped to appreciably increase the stabilizer's overload capacity. Now, the automatic disconnection in case of 100% overload happens after 5 seconds, and not 1, like in the old model. The new stabilizer can work 20 seconds with a 75% overload, and a whole minute with a 30% overload. This considerably improves consistency of performance in case of complicated loads with high starter currents. The stabilizer became more reliable, which allowed us to double the warranty period to 2 years. 

Modalis MR 16000 voltage stabilizer is designed for protection of home and office appliances and industrial equipment with aggregate power consumption of up to 16 kVA (such is the power consumption of an office, a cottage or a production facility). To power up across-the-line motors (found in industrial machines, refrigerators, air pumps, compressor pumps, high-pressure washers, and power tools), the voltage stabilizer must have a reserve capacity that's 1.5-3 times greater than the motor's own capacity. 

Modalis MR 16000 voltage stabilizer is designed as a free-standing unibody with indicator panel, automatic power switch and bypass on the front panel, and a screw terminal for connecting power supply and load cables on the back panel.
